Goodie Ideation is Phase I in the Goodie College Lab #HackTheViolence tech program where college students combat violence using innovation. In this lab based on design thinking, students will be introduced to our process of coming up with moonshot social impact ideas: stretching your limits of comfortability by confronting a big challenge, selecting a customer segment to build a solution for, creating a user persona, diagnosing their most painful problem, understanding what problem exists, brainstorming on features for the tech product, coming up with a code name for the product, and develop a storyboard for it. Students will walk away with a really cool tech idea ready to be passed onto to UI/UX designers, digital marketers, web and graphic designers at the Hack The Violence hackathon at Pivotal Labs July 8th – 9th.
Prepare for Goodie Ideation by selecting a category of violence here, downloading the Ideation Process, and performing online research on your category.
