Goodie Ideation [Saturday] + Goodie Hack [March 4]: Improving Math/Reading Skills In Low Performing Schools

Goodie Ideation [Saturday] + Goodie Hack [March 4]: Improving Math/Reading Skills In Low Performing Schools

Introducing our new process to solve problems in under-served communities: Goodie Innovation. It’s made up of three events (Ideation, Hack, & Marketing) and one program which ties them together. This Goodie Innovation cycle focuses on high-impact ways, using technology to improve math and reading skills of 5,000+ students in low performing schools by 2017. The first two events, Goodie Ideation and Goodie Hack, will take place over the next 25 days in Atlanta.

Let’s solve some problems for under-served communities.
This March will be two years since the first Goodie Hack, and we’ve learned a ton along the way. Our focus on continuous improvement has landed us on a new process: one that is streamlined and interconnected.
Phase I of the Goodie Innovation Process is called Goodie Ideation. It’s a class where participants learn how we come up with innovative big ideas for social impact. We’re looking for 20 people who have an extreme distaste for seeing schools consistently low math and reading scores to register for this Saturday’s course.

Phase 2 in the Goodie Innovation Process is Goodie Hack. The best ideas from Phase I will move onto this hackathon where they’ll be turned into prototypes by developers, designers, etc. As usual, there will be a pitch competition with prizes awarded. This Goodie Hack is special as it’s the 2 Year Anniversary.
We’d love for you to participate in the new Goodie Innovation Process:
