Empowering Enterprise Sales and Elevating Women Innovators: Recapping This Week’s Goodie Nation’s Community Events

This week was packed with insights, inspiration, and impactful dialogue as we launched two virtual event series: Best Practices and the Queens of Innovation Crown Table.

From Pitch to Pilot: Mastering the Enterprise Sale with AI Tools

On Wednesday, March 26th, we kicked off with an engaging session led by Seth Banks, Goodie Nation’s B2B Sales Coach-in-Residence and Managing Partner of TrueSeed. Seth brought his extensive 10-year background in B2B sales to help early-stage founders master enterprise selling, emphasizing the essential concept that enterprise sales fundamentally revolve around trust, timing, and team.

Seth provided participants with actionable insights, highlighting the necessity of articulating a clear and compelling value proposition. He underscored the importance of making sure prospects understand what you do, who you serve, and most importantly, why they should care. Crucially, he advised founders against leading initial calls with product demos, advocating instead for meaningful conversations that build genuine trust.

The golden rule of effective selling, Seth shared, is to listen 70% of the time and speak 30%—enabling prospects to articulate their own needs and, ultimately, trust their own conclusions. Participants learned strategies for driving interactive engagements and handling scenarios where key decision-makers may not initially be present. Seth recommended creative solutions, such as personalized video follow-ups and clear pilot agreements with defined objectives and regular check-ins. I previewed using AI-powered tools like Zapier, designed to streamline lead generation and follow-ups.

Queens of Innovation: Crown Table Series Launch – Imagine That

The empowerment continued on Thursday, March 27th, with the inaugural “Queens of Innovation Crown Table Series.” Designed as a safe and supportive space, this powerful event spotlighted women within the Goodie Nation community. Moderated by our Podcast Manager Kacie Luaders, the innovators engaged in a dynamic dialogue sharing innovative solutions and ambitious visions aimed at reshaping the innovation economy for women.

The Imagine That session explored impactful initiatives including free AI classes for women, federally mandated parental leave, and supportive frameworks for balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship. The roundtable also tackled critical areas such as mental health resources, financial literacy education, and employer-provided childcare.

Looking ahead, we plan to host these monthly editions of the Crown Table, coordinate small group in-person dinners across the country, and create dedicated channels in our online communities.
