Good People Are Dope celebrates the incredible individuals in the innovation community that are doing dope things. Through our digital channels, we recognize the unsung founders, change-makers, tech professionals, investors and everyday champions who embody the spirit of goodness and inspire those around them. Through compelling stories and engaging events, we aim to shine a spotlight on these remarkable individuals, showcasing their stories of resilience, kindness, and innovation. Join us in spreading the message that good people are not just admirable; they’re downright dope. Let’s amplify their voices and inspire a ripple effect of positive change. Together, we can make goodness contagious!
With intentional efforts to reverse the progress made in the last 10 years in the tech startup space relative to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we’ve made a decision to shine a light on founders from backgrounds underrepresented in tech (Black, Latinx, Women, LGBTQ+, etc.). Those selected will be featured on social media, email, etc., get access to business perks, and sent exclusive opportunities with enterprise customers, investors, etc. when they arise.
Bonus Points for startups that use AI as part of their core technology and those in the following industries: Fintech/Banking, Financial Inclusion, Cybersecurity, Digital Health, Identity Verification, SMB Support, Automation, and similar spaces.
For example, startups that provide lending for small business, enable early wage assets, embedded finance, prepaid debit cards for other companies, as well as startups that do AI automation for marketing, HR, customer service, or logistics.
