The Plug: How We Provided Access to $10M Worth of Social Capital Through 3 Powerful Community Events
At Goodie Nation, we believe relationships are the currency of innovation. Community builders are the ultimate plug—the unseen forces connecting diverse founders, technologists, and change-makers to the resources, people, and opportunities they need to succeed. This week, we activated that power across three dynamic events, collectively bringing together 100 influential individuals with a combined social capital pool exceeding $10 million.
Tuesday: Performance Mindset Dinner – The Mental Edge of Elite Performers

We kicked off the week with an intimate Performance Mindset Dinner in Atlanta, produced in partnership with Limitless Minds at Rock Steady. The evening was led by an all-star lineup: Harrison B. Wilson IV (Co-Founder of Limitless Minds), Joshua Lifrak (former Chicago Cubs and NY Mets Mental Fitness Coach), 2x Olympian Joice Maduaka, and Olympic Gold Medalist Keshia Kirtz.
The conversation centered on the psychology of high performance—how elite athletes sharpen their mental edge to compete at the highest level and how those same tactics apply to founders, executives, and industry leaders. It was a reaffirming experience, reinforcing the mindset shifts required for those playing at the top of their game.
Limitless Minds is bringing this game-changing knowledge to the corporate world, working with VC firms, startups, and enterprises to integrate performance psychology into their teams—whether that be for sales teams, executives, or leadership cohorts. Special thanks to Raeshawn Pelote for securing Rock Steady and creating a five-star, private experience. This was a masterclass in mindset training, and our community left inspired and empowered.
Wednesday: AI Founders Dinner – Strengthening the AI Ecosystem

The momentum continued as we partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startups to host an exclusive dinner for some of Atlanta’s AI founders at 5Church Buckhead.
In a room filled with Atlanta’s innovative AI minds, Nashlie Sephus, Ph.D., delivered her powerful origin story as well as how founders can leverage AWS resources to build, scale, and innovate. Conversations flowed as founders connected with AWS leaders and each other, reinforcing our core belief: relationships close the gap between potential and opportunity.
At Goodie Nation, we are intentional about ensuring underrepresented founders have direct access to the decision-makers and infrastructure necessary to thrive. This dinner was another step toward closing the Relationship Gap in the AI space.
Thursday: Verticals Industry Roundtable – Breaking Down Barriers in Health Innovation & Workforce Development

On Thursday, we wrapped the week with Verticals, our monthly industry roundtable series that fosters deep discussions within key sectors. This month’s session engaged over 40 community members across two breakout discussions: Health Innovation and Tech Workforce Development.
Health Innovation Room:
Moderated by Trevor Wilkins, this session was a masterclass, led by the WellStar team, in navigating large health systems, procurement processes, and contracting for startups. Community members walked away with a clearer understanding of how to engage with health systems—from seed-stage partnerships to full-scale procurement deals.
Tech Workforce Development Room:
Moderated by Ian Scott Cohen, discussions centered on higher education’s role in tech, the rising interest in entrepreneurship, shifting funding landscapes, and the critical importance of keeping stakeholders informed about ecosystem changes. As the tech workforce undergoes rapid shifts, these conversations help align community efforts with emerging opportunities.
This wasn’t just a discussion—it was a strategic alignment of key players committed to making lasting change in their industries.
The Takeaway: Community is the Ultimate Cheat Code
This week’s events were a reminder of why community builders matter. They are the connectors, the curators, the architects of innovation. They bridge gaps, unlock doors, and create access where none existed before.
Through these three experiences, we witnessed firsthand the impact of relationship-driven programming: high-growth innovators gaining the mental resilience to lead, AI innovators accessing corporate partnerships, and industry leaders aligning to drive systemic change.
This is innovation done right. Stay magnetic, and outwork yesterday.
