Announcing Additional Funding from ServiceTitan, redefinED atlanta, and Concrete Rose Foundation to Expand Our Support of Tech Training Programs Nationally
We’re extremely excited to announce grants from ServiceTitan®, redefinED atlanta and the Concrete Rose Foundation that will bolster our initiative to support leaders of coding, design, engineering, math, and robotics programs across the United States. The total pledged represents about 10 percent of our annual funding target.
“Tech ecosystems are only as strong as the organizations that champion the training of students,” said Joey Womack, CEO of Goodie Nation. “These commitments enable us to then turn around and make an impact on local communities. As we look to more than double the number of our founders by the end of 2021, such support provides great momentum towards reaching our goal.”
We have platforms to support both the post-secondary arena as well as K-12 education. Both the Intentionally Good: K12 Tech Training Programs and the Intentionally Good: Post-Secondary Tech Training Programs initiatives work to change trajectories of the next generation of tech leaders through collaborating with the best tech training programs, fine tuning their curriculum to align with the changing economy and workforce.
“We know Goodie Nation is doing the critical work of filling in education gaps in schools and communities,” said Ed Chang, executive director of redefinED atlanta. “We’re confident this funding will only deepen their impact.”
We have a goal of backing 100 tech training programs across the U.S. in 2021. If you are a tech training program leader, click here to learn more and apply for support.
