STEAM CAREER PATHWAYS & SOCIAL GOOD MADE RELEVANT FOR YOUTH AND TEACHERS
Our Goodie Impact K-12 program is a series of initiatives designed to train youth and teachers on 21st century job skills while allowing them to contribute to mission-driven focused open source software. We strive to make STEAM and entrepreneurship relevant and achievable for students while putting them on the pathway to becoming thought leaders. For teachers, we provide open, safe, and inviting environments to enhance professional development in order to become more effective in and out of the classroom.
Panel discussion where tech startup founders and subject-matter experts share their origin stories, provide deep insight on civic challenges, entrepreneurship and mission-driven career pathways.
A hands-on design thinking lab where educators diagnose specific problems revolving around STEAM, and come up with innovative solutions.
We can’t make Hack STEM a reality without your help! Please consider making a contribution today.
Though we have had K-5 students participate in our programs, the majority of youth are in middle school and high school.
Nope!
The program is completely free for students and educators! We partner with schools, after school programs, and school systems to cover the fees. Oftentimes, these fees are subsidized by grants or sponsors.
