At Goodie Nation, we believe the primary reason for this is the lack of relationships with investors and other key influencers. We believe at the heart of relationships are trust and confidence.

HOW IT WORKS
VENTURE INVESTMENT READINESS EVALUATIONS
Probably our most powerful session, these are 1:1 mock pitches between a startup and investor. Startups are scored by the investor according to our rubric, and are given the scores afterwards. Founders will work with their portfolio manager to create a strategic plan to reach their goals/milestones for the next quarter. These sessions are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 3pm – 4pm EST on Zoom.
GIVE STRATEGIC ADVICE
Hop on 30 minute video calls with founders to give specific advice on anything from go-to-market, business model, sales, hiring, etc. You set your area of expertise, and we’ll send good founders your way.
GET DEAL FLOW
If you’d like, we can send your startups your way that have passed our venture investment readiness evaluation. The startups will fit your investment thesis. This is optional.

What stage are you looking for?
We’re looking for angel investors all the way through Series A+ investors to participate.
Any specific sectors or industries?
We’re sector and industry agnostic.
How much does it cost to participate?
Zero. It’s completely free. We just ask you to give (aka volunteer) 1 hour per year (at minimum).
How is it possible that this is free?
Because of our awesome funder, sponsors, and donors. Let us know if you are your firm would like to join this group.
I’m not in the US. Can I participate?
Currently, we are accepting investors from the US and Canada. However, we plan to expand soon.
What happens if I switch companies?
Totally understandable, and it’s expected in this day and age. It doesn’t affect anything from our perspective.
What is the time committment?
Great question. Its designed to be as efficient as possible. We ask you to participate one Venture Investment Readiness Evaluation session per year. These sessions are one hour total. But feel free to participate in more. Additionally, you offer to provide strategic advice to startups. These are scheduled according to your own availability, and are typically 30 minutes video calls.
What is the application process?
Our application process includes an application and a quick reference check. We’re sure you understand why.
Is the programming in-person or virtual?
Our programming is designed to be virtual, but we will produce high-value in-person programming as the opportunity arises.
